An unforgettable journey through the breathtaking landscapes of Southern France

Early morning departure from Luxembourg’s P+R Bouillon to Millau, including breakfast and lunch. Upon arrival, you will have time to get a first impression of the region.

Day 2 – May 25, 2026 / Millau Walking Tour – Glove Making – Peyre
A stroll through the historic streets of Millau immerses you in the city’s rich heritage: Place Maréchal Foch, the market halls, and Rue de la Saunerie. Millau is famous for its leather and glove production – experience firsthand the high art of haute couture glove making. Afterwards, travel to Peyre, a picturesque village perched on a cliff with stunning panoramic views. Guided visit included.

Day 3 – May 26, 2026 / Corniche des Cévennes – Cirque de Navacelles – La Couvertoirade
After breakfast, drive via Meyrueis along the spectacular Corniche des Cévennes panoramic road. Enjoy breathtaking views of unspoiled nature stretching to Saint-Jean-du-Gard and Anduze. In the afternoon, continue to the Cirque de Navacelles, a spectacular 400-meter deep gorge that separates the Causse de Blandas from the Causse du Larzac. On the way back, visit La Couvertoirade, a medieval Templar village with an impressive 14th-century ring wall.

Day 4 – May 27, 2026 / Free Day in Millau
Enjoy a free day to explore Millau at your leisure. Our tip: visit the traditional market held on Wednesdays and Fridays. The historic old town with its charming streets and small boutiques invites you to stroll around. The Millau Museum and the Grands Causses Natural Park are also popular destinations.

Day 5 – May 28, 2026 / Montpellier-le-Vieux – House of the Vultures
In the morning, explore Montpellier-le-Vieux, a fascinating “stone city” with bizarre rock formations, winding paths, and stunning views over the Causses region. A walk will take you through this impressive natural landscape. In the afternoon, continue to Le Truel for a visit to the House of the Vultures. At the visitor center, learn about the impressive vultures native to the area and observe these majestic birds through binoculars from a viewing platform.

Day 6 – May 29, 2026 / Millau Viaduct – Roquefort Caves & Tasting
The day begins with a visit to the impressive Millau Viaduct, the world’s tallest cable-stayed bridge and a masterpiece of modern engineering. The highest pylon rises 343 meters into the sky, while the roadway spans 270 meters above the Tarn River. Next, stop at the “Aire de Vision” viewpoint for breathtaking views over the Tarn valley. In the afternoon, continue to Soulzon for a guided tour of the famous Roquefort cheese caves, followed by a tasting of this world-renowned blue cheese.
