ITINERARY

Day 1: 20 January 2027 / Journey – Bern – Interlaken

Departure takes place early in the morning from Luxembourg at P+R Bouillon towards Switzerland, including breakfast and lunch. Around midday, you arrive in the Swiss capital of Bern. During a guided tour, you discover the historic centre with its sandstone facades, arcades and medieval towers. Afterwards, there is free time to stroll beneath the famous arcades or enjoy the winter atmosphere in one of the cosy cafés. In the late afternoon, the journey continues to Interlaken.

Day 2: 21 January 2027 / Jungfraujoch

The majestic peaks of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau rise dramatically above the landscape. Today, a panorama unlike any other awaits you. Travelling with the modern Eiger Express and the historic Jungfrau Railway, you journey through the heart of the Eiger to Europe’s highest railway station at more than 3,400 metres above sea level. Whether from the Sphinx observation platform, inside the Ice Palace with its artistic sculptures or overlooking the mighty Aletsch Glacier, you will experience a spectacular alpine world of ice and light. The return journey takes you via Kleine Scheidegg to Lauterbrunnen, where the impressive Staubbach Falls plunge into the valley.

Day 3: 22 January 2027 / Gruyères – Cheese Dairy – Montreux – Chillon Castle

A day combining Swiss tradition with stunning lakeside scenery awaits you. First, you travel to the charming town of Gruyères, home of the famous “Le Gruyère” cheese. At a local cheese dairy, you gain insight into the production process before strolling through the medieval old town overlooked by its fairy-tale castle. In the afternoon, you reach Montreux on the shores of Lake Geneva, an elegant resort town set between the lake and the Alps. After some free time, you visit the romantic Chillon Castle, beautifully located on a rocky island. Once the residence of the Counts of Savoy for nearly four centuries, it is now one of Switzerland’s most visited historic landmarks. Afterwards, return to Interlaken.
