Privacy Rules
1. The new regulation on personal data protection
As of May 25, 2018, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) came into effect. This is the largest reform of European legislation in the field of data protection in over 20 years. The objective of the GDPR is to strengthen the protection of personal data collected and stored of all residents of the European Union.
The GDPR establishes rules relating to the protection of individuals in relation to the processing of personal data and rules concerning the free movement of such data (Article 1§1 of the GDPR).
This regulation protects the fundamental freedoms and rights of individuals, particularly their right to the protection of personal data (Article 1§2 of the GDPR).

2. Explanations
Personal data refers to any information related to an identified or identifiable individual (Article 4§1 of the GDPR).
An identifiable individual is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, particularly by reference to an identifier such as a name, identification number, location data, an online identifier, or one or more specific factors related to the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural, or social identity of that person (Article 4§1 of the GDPR).
Processing refers to any operation or set of operations performed on personal data or on sets of personal data, such as collection, recording, organization, structuring, storage, adaptation, or modification of such data (Article 4§2 of the GDPR).
3. What personal data may be collected?
- Clients' names and surnames
- Clients' contact data (phone number, email)
- Clients' addresses
- Date of birth
- Accompanying travelers with birth dates
- Passport/ID card information
- Credit card and bank account numbers
- Dietary preferences and/or allergies
- Medical aids (wheelchair, etc.)
