Day 1: 29 December 2026 / Journey to Montreux
Your journey begins at 06:00 a.m. from Luxembourg at P+R Bouillon towards Switzerland, including breakfast and lunch. In the evening, you arrive in Montreux, beautifully located on the shores of Lake Geneva, where you check into your hotel and enjoy your first impressions of this elegant lakeside promenade.
Day 2: 30 December 2026 / GoldenPass Route – Gstaad – Gruyères – Cheese Dairy
Today, you enjoy a scenic train journey through the impressive mountain landscapes of western Switzerland. Via Aigle and the Col des Mosses, you reach Gstaad, the renowned alpine resort with its car-free centre, surrounded by harmonious mountain scenery. On the return journey, you stop in the medieval town of Gruyères. Traditional houses, the impressive castle and the region’s famous cheese-making heritage give the town its unique charm. A visit to a local cheese dairy is naturally a must.
Day 3: 31 December 2026 / Chaplin’s World – Leisure Time in Vevey – New Year’s Eve Celebration at the Hotel
In the morning, you visit Chaplin’s World in Corsier-sur-Vevey. This interactive museum brings to life the work, humour and story of the legendary British film star in an emotional and engaging way. Afterwards, you have free time for a stroll along Lake Geneva or to visit the Alimentarium, a museum dedicated to the history and future of food and nutrition. In the evening, you welcome the New Year during a festive celebration at the hotel. Enjoy an elegant dinner accompanied by musical entertainment from a DJ.
Day 4: 1 January 2027 / New Year’s Day – Leisure Time in Montreux
After a relaxed start to the New Year, enjoy Montreux at your own pace. Stroll along the lakeside promenade, discover the old town or simply soak in the winter atmosphere by Lake Geneva.
Day 5: 2 January 2027 / Return Journey
In the morning, you begin the return journey to Luxembourg, including lunch.
