ITINERARY
Day 1: 28 December 2026 / Journey to Carry-le-Rouet
Your journey begins at 6:00 a.m. from P+R Bouillon towards the Mediterranean coast, including breakfast and lunch. In the evening, you arrive in Carry-le-Rouet, idyllically located on the Côte Bleue near Marseille.
Day 2: 29 December 2026 / Culture in Aix-en-Provence
Today you discover Aix-en-Provence, one of the most elegant towns in Provence. During a walk through the old town, you encounter magnificent mansions, artistic fountains from various centuries and lively squares lined with cafés and boutiques. The town is closely associated with Paul Cézanne and offers numerous museums and cultural highlights.
Day 3: 30 December 2026 / Market Day in Cassis – Calanques Boat Cruise
In the morning, you travel to Cassis, where market day creates a lively atmosphere and leaves time for a leisurely stroll. This charming harbour town captivates visitors with its white limestone cliffs, turquoise sea and Mediterranean flair. In the afternoon, you experience the spectacular coastline during a boat cruise through the Calanques, passing steep cliffs all the way to Cap Canaille, the highest sea cliff in France.
Day 4: 31 December 2026 / Arles
Today’s excursion takes you to Arles, a town rich in Roman heritage. Its impressive amphitheatre, unique location between the Camargue and the Alpilles, and strong connection to Vincent van Gogh all shape the town’s character. Museums and historic landmarks tell stories of art, history and Provençal lifestyle.
Day 5: 1 January 2027 / Marseille
The morning is at leisure. In the afternoon, you discover Marseille, the oldest and second-largest city in France. Around the Vieux-Port, in the Le Panier district or at the Basilica of Notre-Dame de la Garde, you will experience the true Mediterranean atmosphere. Be sure to enjoy local culinary specialties such as bouillabaisse and the lively harbour ambiance during your stay.
Day 6: 2 January 2027 / Return Journey
After breakfast, you bid farewell to Provence and begin the return journey towards Luxembourg, including lunch.
