TRAVEL ITINERARY

Day 1: 23 December 2026 / Arrival – Leisure Time
In the morning, you fly from Luxembourg to Gran Canaria. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel.

Day 2: 24 December 2026 / Museo Canario – Christmas Eve
Your cultural discovery begins with a visit to the renowned Museo Canario. Founded in 1879, the museum is dedicated to preserving the historical heritage of the Canary Islands. Particularly fascinating are the collections dedicated to the Guanches, the islands’ original inhabitants. In the evening, you enjoy a festive Christmas Eve gala buffet at the hotel.

Day 3: 25 December 2026 / Christmas Day
After a relaxed breakfast, a festive Christmas lunch awaits you in a selected restaurant. The rest of the afternoon is free for you to enjoy as you wish.

Day 4: 26 December 2026 / Las Palmas – Botanical Garden – Puerto de la Luz
On Boxing Day, a full-day island excursion takes you to some of Gran Canaria’s most important highlights. In Las Palmas, you visit the Columbus Museum, offering fascinating insights into Christopher Columbus’ Atlantic voyages. Afterwards, the Caldera de Bandama reveals breathtaking panoramic views over the enormous volcanic crater and surrounding landscapes. At the Botanical Garden, you discover an impressive variety of Canary Island and exotic plant species. Before returning, you also experience the maritime atmosphere of Puerto de La Luz, the island’s most important harbour.

Day 5: 27 December 2026 / Teror – Weekly Market – San Mateo
In the heart of the island, the traditional village of Teror welcomes you with cobbled streets, beautifully carved wooden balconies and its famous basilica. Following a guided tour, you have time to explore the colourful weekly market and discover regional products. Afterwards, the journey continues to San Mateo, where authentic island life and unspoiled landscapes define the atmosphere.

Day 6: 28 December 2026 / Arucas – Rum Distillery – Firgas – Coffee Plantations
Today combines culture, tradition and gastronomy. In Arucas, a guided tour through a rum distillery offers insights into the production of traditional Canary Island rum. You also visit the impressive neo-Gothic church built from dark volcanic stone. In Firgas, the beautifully decorated promenade with its traditional tilework creates a unique atmosphere. The day concludes with a visit to the coffee plantations of Los Berrazales, including tastings of local products.

Day 7: 29 December 2026 / Leisure Time
Today is entirely free for relaxation and personal activities.

Day 8: 30 December 2026 / Maspalomas – Anfi del Mar
The southern coastal landscapes of Gran Canaria are the focus of today’s excursion. In Maspalomas, you visit the lively weekly market featuring regional specialities and local handicrafts. Afterwards, you enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of Anfi del Mar with its protected beach bay. During the excursion, a traditional paella lunch is also served.

Day 9: 31 December 2026 / New Year’s Eve Celebration
Spend the final day of the year exactly as you wish. In the evening, the hotel hosts a festive four-course gala dinner accompanied by music and an open bar. In an elegant and joyful atmosphere, you bid farewell to 2026.

Day 10: 01 January 2027 / New Year’s Day
The new year begins peacefully and at a relaxed pace. Enjoy the day entirely according to your own rhythm.

Day 11: 02 January 2027 / Mogán – Boat Excursion
To conclude your journey, you discover the picturesque fishing village of Mogán, whose whitewashed houses and small canals create an almost Venetian atmosphere. During a coastal boat excursion, you may spot dolphins and whales, which are regularly seen in these waters. A shared paella lunch completes this memorable outing.

Day 12: 03 January 2027 / Return Journey
You still have some free time before your transfer to the airport. Afterwards, return flight to Luxembourg.
