ITINERARY
Day 1: October 17, 2026 / Arrival
Early-morning departure from Luxembourg (P+R Bouillon) to Menton, including breakfast and lunch.
Alternative: Direct flight from Luxembourg to Nice with transfer to the hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure.
Day 2: October 18, 2026 / Menton – City Tour
In the morning, discover Menton with a local guide. Stroll through the picturesque old town, visit the Basilica of Saint-Michel-Archange, the Cimetière du Vieux Château, former grand hotels, and the elegant casino. The afternoon is free.
Day 3: October 19, 2026 / Monaco – Èze
Visit the Principality of Monaco. A ride on the “Petit Train” takes you past the main sights: the Oceanographic Museum, Port Hercule, Monte Carlo with its casino and luxury hotels, and the Prince’s Palace. In the afternoon, continue to the medieval hilltop village of Èze, stroll through its narrow pedestrian streets, and visit a traditional perfume factory.
Day 4: October 20, 2026 / Gardens of Menton – Leisure
Garden art has been part of Menton’s heritage since the 18th century. We recommend visiting gardens such as Jardin Maria Serena, Jardin Serre de la Madone, or Jardin Fontana Rosa. In the afternoon, the Musée Jean Cocteau is worth a visit, showcasing drawings, paintings, writings, ceramics, and more. Another highlight is the citrus garden of the Palais de Carnolès, home to Europe’s largest collection with over 130 rare citrus varieties.
Day 5: October 21, 2026 / Sanremo
After breakfast, travel across the Italian border to Sanremo. During a guided tour, discover the old harbor Porto Vecchio, Piazza Bresca, the Santa Tecla fortress, the medieval old town “La Pigna,” and the Gothic Porta di Santo Stefano. The afternoon is free.
Day 6: October 22, 2026 / Château de Crémat & Leisure in Nice
Visit the Château de Crémat and learn about the history of the estate. During a guided tour, explore the historic cellars and elegant rooms, some furnished with pieces from the legendary Ritz in Paris. The rest of the day is free in Nice.
Day 7: October 23, 2026 / Ventimiglia Weekly Market
On Fridays, Ventimiglia hosts its famous weekly market. Stroll beneath palm trees and discover a colorful selection of regional products and fashion. Arriving early is recommended to fully experience the lively atmosphere. The old town also offers charming insights into Italian life.
Day 8: October 24, 2026 / Return Journey
After a hearty breakfast, return to Luxembourg, including lunch.
Alternative: Transfer to Nice Airport and return flight to Luxembourg with Luxair.
