Itinerary

Day 1: Saturday, 7 November – Arrival

Flight from Findel Airport at 06:15, arrival at Malta International Airport at 08:50. Upon arrival, you will be welcomed by a tour guide at the airport. Afterwards, you will visit Valletta, the capital of Malta. Highlights include:

• St John’s Co-Cathedral (entrance included)
• Upper Barrakka Gardens
• Grand Master’s Palace
• Unique architecture of Valletta’s historic buildings and balconies
• Harbour views and panorama of the “Three Cities”

Free time for snacks and drinks is planned. Afterwards, transfer to the hotel with arrival at 14:00. The group will be welcomed at the hotel with a non-alcoholic welcome drink. Check-in.

Day 2: Sunday, 8 November – At leisure

Day at leisure.

Day 3: Monday, 9 November

Meeting with the tour guide at 08:45 in the hotel lobby. Start of the excursion at 09:00, end around 14:00. Visit to Mdina, the “Silent City”, including the cathedral and museum (entrance included). Afterwards, continuation to Rabat and visit of St Paul’s Catacombs (entrance included). Free time for snacks and drinks.

Day 4: Tuesday, 10 November

Meeting with the tour guide at 08:00 in the hotel lobby. Departure at 08:15, return around 17:15. Transfer to the ferry harbour and crossing to Gozo. Visits include:

• The Citadel
• Victoria
• Inland Sea
• Fungus Rock
• Ġgantija Temples (entrance included)
• Salt pans
• Xlendi

Lunch in Xlendi (fishing village) at 13:30 (included).

Day 5: Wednesday, 11 November

Meeting with the tour guide at 09:15 in the hotel lobby. Start at 09:30, end around 16:30. Transfer to Sliema and harbour cruise (approx. 1 hour 30 minutes). Afterwards, visit of the famous “Three Cities”: Isla, Bormla and Birgu. In Birgu, visit of the Inquisitor’s Palace (entrance included). Free time for snacks and drinks. Return to the hotel.

Day 6: Thursday, 12 November – At leisure

Day at leisure.

Day 7: Friday, 13 November

Meeting with the tour guide at 08:45 in the hotel lobby. Start at 09:00, end around 16:00. Transfer to the south of Malta to visit the megalithic temples, older than the pyramids of Egypt (entrance included). Photo stop at the Blue Grotto. Continuation to the fishing village of Marsaxlokk. There you will see the colourful “Luzzu” boats, enjoy a walk along the promenade and have free time for lunch.

Day 8: Saturday, 14 November – Departure

The airport representative will come to the hotel and assist with check-out. Departure from the hotel at 06:45, arrival at the airport at 07:30. Check-in and departure with Luxair LG986 at 09:40.
