TRAVEL ITINERARY

Day 1: 26 November 2026 / Arrival in Berlin – Spree River Cruise
In the morning, you fly from Luxembourg to Berlin. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel. Around midday, you have free time to enjoy your first impressions of the German capital at your own pace. In the early afternoon, you experience Berlin from a unique perspective during a two-hour cruise along the River Spree. Passing landmarks such as Museum Island, Berlin Cathedral, the government district with the Federal Chancellery, Charlottenburg Palace and many other iconic buildings, the cruise offers a fascinating overview of the city’s many different faces.

Day 2: 27 November 2026 / The History of Berlin
Today focuses on Berlin’s turbulent past. During a guided tour, you follow the traces of National Socialism and the Second World War, from the Brandenburg Gate and the Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe to the Topography of Terror documentation centre. Historic sites such as Wilhelmstraße provide powerful insights into the city’s darker chapters of power and ideology. A second guided walk is dedicated to the era of Germany’s division. Along former border routes and preserved sections of the Berlin Wall, you learn more about life in divided Berlin, dramatic escape attempts and the road to reunification, from Potsdamer Platz to Checkpoint Charlie.

Day 3: 28 November 2026 / Leisure Time
With no fixed programme today, you are free to experience Berlin according to your own interests. Whether Christmas shopping, visiting festive Christmas markets or simply exploring the city’s vibrant neighbourhoods, Berlin’s diversity is yours to discover.

Optional: in the evening, join a guided neighbourhood tour through lively Kreuzberg with its multicultural streets, hidden courtyards, cafés and the legendary SO36 club.

Day 4: 29 November 2026 / Art & Creativity
Today, Berlin reveals its artistic side. During a guided street art tour, you discover famous and hidden works of urban art in districts such as Kreuzberg, Friedrichshain and at the East Side Gallery, where the history of the Berlin Wall meets modern artistic expression. Afterwards, you have plenty of free time for your own discoveries.

Optional: a museum pass gives access to several important museums and exhibitions, including the world-famous Museum Island.

Day 5: 30 November 2026 / Return Journey
Before departing, there is still time for a final walk through Berlin or a relaxing break in one of the city’s cafés. In the afternoon, transfer to the airport for your return flight to Luxembourg.
