ITINERARY
Day 1: March 17, 2026 / Arrival in Marrakesh Your flight takes you from Luxembourg to Marrakesh, where you will be warmly welcomed upon arrival and transferred to your hotel.
Day 2: March 18, 2026 / Marrakesh After breakfast, enjoy a visit to the Menara Gardens, a green oasis with olive groves and a historic pavilion. Then visit the Koutoubia Mosque, the city’s landmark, and the magnificent Bahia Palace with its ornate inlays and stucco work. Spend the afternoon at the lively Jamaa El Fna square.
Day 3: March 19, 2026 / Day Trip to Essaouira Today you will take an excursion to Essaouira, a charming coastal town that has preserved its history as a Phoenician, Carthaginian, and Portuguese settlement. After a guided tour of the historic medina and the harbor fortress, you will have time to enjoy the markets and the rugged beauty of the Atlantic coast.
Day 4: March 20, 2026 / Ourika Valley – Casablanca In the morning, drive to the picturesque Ourika Valley, known for its waterfalls and Berber villages. You will hike to the waterfalls before continuing in the afternoon to Casablanca, where dinner awaits you after hotel check-in.
Day 5: March 21, 2026 / Casablanca – Rabat The day begins with a visit to the impressive Hassan II Mosque, an architectural masterpiece and the second largest mosque in Africa. Then stroll through the charming Habous district. After lunch, continue to the Moroccan capital Rabat. There, visit the Royal Palace, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, and the Kasbah of the Oudayas.
Day 6: March 22, 2026 / Rabat – Tangier Today you travel to Tangier, the gateway between Africa and Europe. Visit the old town with its winding alleys and cozy cafés. Especially worth seeing is the “Petit Socco,” a historic meeting place for artists and intellectuals. After a break with mint tea, continue to Cape Spartel, the northwesternmost point of Africa. Nearby, discover the Hercules Caves, which legend says served as the sleeping place of the demigod.
Day 7: March 23, 2026 / Tangier – Chefchaouen Drive to the “Blue City” of Chefchaouen, enchanting with its blue and white houses and relaxed atmosphere. During a walk through the picturesque streets, discover handicraft shops and cozy cafés. The afternoon is free for your own activities.
Day 8: March 24, 2026 / Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Meknès – Fès In the morning, visit the ancient ruins of Volubilis, offering a fascinating insight into Morocco’s Roman history. After a lunch break in the holy city of Moulay Idris, continue to Meknès, where you will see the majestic gates and palaces of the royal city. In the evening, arrive in Fès.
Day 9: March 25, 2026 / Fès Today discover Morocco’s cultural capital on a guided tour through the labyrinthine medina. See the famous Qarawīyīn Mosque, the Chouara Tanneries, and historic Islamic schools such as the Bou Inania Madrasa. After an eventful day, return to the hotel in the afternoon.
Day 10: March 26, 2026 / Fès – Marrakesh After breakfast, travel by first-class train back to Marrakesh, where a transfer to the hotel awaits you upon arrival.
Day 11: March 27, 2026 / Departure In the morning, you will be taken to Menara Airport for your return flight to Luxembourg, full of unforgettable memories.
