Dr. Ulrich Kohlmann, sommelier and lecturer for the Italian Sommelier Association, has lived in Tuscany for 30 years and has curated the most fascinating wine locations for this diverse tour. Join him in visiting the top spots of Tuscan wine.

Itinerary

Day 1: In the Heart of Chianti Classico

• Flight from Luxembourg to Florence (Luxair, 11:45–13:35)
• Welcome and transfer to the Chianti Classico region
• Visit to the renowned winery Castello di Monsanto, including tasting and light meal
• Dinner at Osteria Donatella

Day 2: Cellar Art in Montepulciano

• Lecture: The Wine Region of Tuscany
• Visit to the top winery Fattoria Bindella, including tasting and lunch
• Stroll through the town of Montepulciano
• Visit to Fattoria Talosa (Etruscan cellar), including tasting
• Dinner at Osteria Donatella

Day 3: Innovations in Montalcino

• Wine experience: How to create a good cuvée
• Drive through the picturesque Orcia Valley
• Walk through the old town of Pienza
• Visit to Salcheto winery (award-winning for sustainable practices), including tasting

Day 4: Crafting a Cuvée & Strolling in Siena

• Visit to the women-led winery Casato Prime Donne, including tasting and lunch
• Visit to the top winery Paradiso di Frassina (uses classical music for pest control), including tasting
• Farewell dinner at a charming countryside inn

Day 5: Arrivederci!

• Drive through the Chianti region
• Stop in the wine town of Greve
• Continue to Florence Airport
• Flight from Florence to Luxembourg (Luxair, 15:50–17:45)
