Our French-speaking Jordan tour will impress you with a rich variety of cultural and natural treasures from different eras of world history. In the well-preserved archaeological site of Jerash, you will step back into Roman history. You will discover the modern capital Amman as well as the peaceful port city of Aqaba. You will travel to biblical sites at Mount Nebo and the Jordan River, admire Jordan’s “Grand Canyon” and the medieval Crusader castle of Kerak. In Petra, you will marvel at the Nabataeans’ masterful rock-carved architecture, spending a total of 1.5 days in this unique rock city. In Wadi Rum, you will be enchanted by its surreal rock formations and the magical desert atmosphere. A Bedouin dinner under the starry sky and a day at the Dead Sea (with the option to visit the biblical baptism site) complete this relaxing journey.

You will stay in carefully selected 4-star accommodations in prime locations: centrally in Amman, within walking distance of Petra’s entrance, and with a relaxed infinity pool at the Dead Sea. In Wadi Rum, you will sleep in comfortable permanent tents offering panoramic views from both bed and terrace (with private bathrooms).

• Visit of the King Abdullah Mosque
• Visit of the Citadel and the Archaeological Museum

Day 4: In biblical footsteps

• Visit of the historic mosaic map in Madaba
• View (weather permitting) from Mount Nebo over the “Promised Land”
• Drive through Wadi Mujib (Jordan’s Grand Canyon)

Day 5: Petra & the Nabataeans

• Full-day visit of Petra (UNESCO World Heritage Site)

• Visit of the Neolithic site of Beidha
• Petra: Monastery Ed-Deir (ascent/descent via 800 uneven steps each way)

Day 7: Wadi Rum – the magic of the desert

• Drive to Wadi Rum

Day 8: Red Sea & Dead Sea
