ITINERARY
Day 1: February 27, 2026 / Arrival Departure in the morning from Luxembourg (P+R Bouillon) to Nice, including breakfast and lunch. Alternative: Flight with Luxair to Nice.
Day 2: February 28, 2026 / Market in Vieux-Nice – Free time Visit the traditional flower market "Cours Saleya". The rest of the day is at your leisure. Enjoy lunch at the iconic Negresco Hotel or the seaside Beau Rivage. Then stroll along the Promenade des Anglais, explore charming boutiques in the old town, take the tourist train, or visit one of the many museums, such as the Matisse Museum.
Day 3: March 1, 2026 / Grasse – Nice Carnival Start the day with an excursion to Grasse, the world-renowned perfume capital. Participate in a perfume-making workshop. In the afternoon, return to Nice for the Côte d’Azur’s biggest winter event: the Nice Carnival. Reserved seats await you on Place Masséna to enjoy the grand parade with over a thousand musicians and dancers.
Day 4: March 2, 2026 / Lemon Festival in Menton Early morning departure to Menton for the unique Lemon Festival – Fête du Citron. This traditional event is famous for its citrus-decorated floats, accompanied by orchestras and folk groups. The parade runs along the Promenade du Soleil, and you’ll watch it from a grandstand. Afterwards, you can visit the impressive citrus exhibition in the Biovès Gardens, which is free of charge.
Day 5: March 3, 2026 / Sanremo Morning excursion to Sanremo with a guided city tour. Discover the picturesque harbor, Piazza Bresca, the Santa Tecla fortress, and the historic old town “La Pigna” with its narrow alleys and Gothic gate of Santo Stefano. Free time in the afternoon.
Day 6: March 4, 2026 / Return After breakfast, return journey to Luxembourg, lunch included.
Alternative: Transfer to the airport and return flight with Luxair to Luxembourg.
