ITINERARY
Day 1: December 7, 2025 / Arrival in Dresden Departure early morning from Luxembourg at P+R Bouillon to Dresden, including breakfast and lunch. After checking in at the hotel, the evening is free for you. Take the opportunity for a first stroll through the festively illuminated old town or relax and unwind.
Day 2: December 8, 2025 / Dresden – Free time In the morning, discover Dresden on a guided city tour. Admire the impressive architecture of the Semper Opera House, the magnificent Frauenkirche, and the historic Royal Palace. Afterwards, you have time to explore the city at your own pace. Stroll through the famous Striezelmarkt, Germany’s oldest Christmas market, or enjoy the festive atmosphere during a walk along the Elbe.
Day 3: December 9, 2025 / Meißen – Porcelain Manufactory – Moritzburg Castle After breakfast, the trip takes you to Meißen, where you will learn about the traditional porcelain manufactory during a guided tour. Afterwards, you have the opportunity to refresh yourself at the charming Meißen Christmas market with regional delicacies. In the afternoon, continue to the fairytale-like Moritzburg Castle.
Day 4: December 10, 2025 / Free day Explore Dresden on your own or take part in an optional excursion to Saxon Switzerland. The trip first leads you to historic Pirna before continuing along the Elbe to the impressive Königstein Fortress. Here, the most beautiful Christmas market in the region takes place on the Advent weekends. Another highlight is the famous Bastei, from where you can enjoy a spectacular view over the wintery Elbe Sandstone Mountains.

Day 5: December 11, 2025 / Weimar – Return journey Before returning to Luxembourg, make a stop in Weimar. Take the opportunity for a stroll through the festively decorated town and enjoy the magical atmosphere at the historic Christmas market. After lunch, continue your return journey.
