TRAVEL ITINERARY

Day 1: December 29, 2025 / Arrival
Early morning departure from Luxembourg (P+R Bouillon) to St. Gilgen, including breakfast and lunch.

Day 2: December 30, 2025 / Bad Ischl – Horse-drawn sleigh ride
Today, discover the imperial town of Bad Ischl, European Capital of Culture 2024. Start with a visit to the traditional nativity scene exhibition at the Bad Ischl Museum. Then enjoy a romantic horse-drawn sleigh ride through the snowy landscape. Afterwards, relax with a cup of coffee or tea and freshly baked farmer’s doughnuts.

Day 3: December 31, 2025 / Berchtesgaden – Königssee
In the morning, enjoy a guided tour in Berchtesgaden with insights into the region’s history. In the afternoon, take a peaceful boat trip on the Königssee aboard an electric boat to the famous pilgrimage church of St. Bartholomä. Back at the hotel, relax and prepare for the festive New Year’s Eve celebration.
Enjoy an exclusive gala dinner with live music, a glass of sparkling wine at midnight, and a hearty goulash soup. Weather permitting, marvel at the hotel's private firework display.

Day 4: January 1, 2026 / Free time
Start the year with a leisurely breakfast. The rest of the day is free for you to enjoy. Take a relaxing walk through St. Gilgen or unwind at the hotel.

Day 5: January 2, 2026 / Boat trip on Lake Wolfgang – Hallstatt
In the morning, enjoy a winter boat trip to St. Wolfgang. Admire the stunning lake scenery, the pilgrimage church, and the giant floating lantern.
Visit the historic parish and pilgrimage church, home to the famous Pacher altar.
In the afternoon, continue to Lake Hallstatt and explore the picturesque village of Hallstatt – a true gem of the Salzkammergut region.

Day 6: January 3, 2026 / Return to Luxembourg
After a relaxed breakfast, return journey to Luxembourg with lunch included.
