The world-famous and incomparable Taj Mahal, the magnificent Humayun’s Tomb, and the Mughal fortress of Agra each tell stories of famous women and their histories. Modern India also has much to share. During this journey, you will visit the classic sites of Delhi, Agra, Jaipur, Udaipur, and Mumbai (Bombay), enjoy a safari in Ranthambore National Park, and cruise on Lake Pichola. You will share a "high tea" with Indian women and discuss Indian and European cultures. At the home of a noble family, you will discover not only their cooking but also the lives of modern Indian women. You will be enchanted by the colors and scents of the markets, experience the vibrant Holi festival, visit sari weavers, observe traditional artisans, stroll through exclusive fashion boutiques, and enjoy a lively Bollywood dance workshop!

You will stay in various 4-star hotels—sometimes elegant and unique, other times classic and modern. Meals will be taken in selected restaurants, often special, full of charm and authenticity.

Itinerary

Day 1: To India

• Departure from Frankfurt at 13:15 (Lufthansa) to New Delhi

Day 2: Old Delhi and Women

• Arrival at 01:30
• Transfer to hotel & check-in
• Rickshaw tour, artisan market, spice market
• Visit to exclusive fashion boutiques
• Welcome dinner in the elegant atmosphere of a palace

Day 3: Holi Festival

• Humayun’s Tomb (UNESCO World Heritage)
• Visit to the Holi festival

Day 4: High Tea with Indian Women, Taj Mahal at Sunset

• Departure for Agra
• Walk through traditional artisan workshops (marble inlay, embroidery)
• High tea with a family (insight into Indian culture and values)
• Sunset at the Taj Mahal (UNESCO World Heritage site)

Day 5: Agra Fort and journey to Jaipur

• Visit the Agra Fort (UNESCO World Heritage)
• Departure for Jaipur

Day 6: Amber Fort, Hawa Mahal, Jaipur Old Town

• Visit a primary school, talk with teachers
