ITINERARY

Day 1: 06 September 2026 / Arrival – Free Time in Montecatini Terme
Direct flight from Luxembourg to Florence. Upon arrival, transfer to Montecatini Terme and check-in at the hotel. The rest of the day is free.

Day 2: 07 September 2026 / Buti – Vicopisano – Pisa – Marina di Pisa
First cycling tour from Buti through medieval Vicopisano, with its well-preserved towers and Brunelleschi-designed fortress. Along the Arno River, arrive in Pisa to see the famous Leaning Tower and other landmarks up close. In the afternoon, cycle to Marina di Pisa and relax by the sea. Distance: approx. 43 km, low elevation, easy to moderate.

Day 3: 08 September 2026 / Lucca – Gardens of the Villa Reale di Marlia
Scenic ride through gentle hills to Lucca. Stop at the beautiful Villa Reale gardens for a picnic in a picturesque setting. Explore the birthplace of Giacomo Puccini with a walk along the city walls offering stunning views. Time to explore the charming city center individually. Distance: approx. 42 km, 190 m elevation, moderate.

Day 4: 09 September 2026 / In the Footsteps of Vinci
Cycle through the Tuscan hills to Vinci, Leonardo da Vinci’s birthplace. Museum visit to learn about the life and work of the universal genius. Then, enjoy a relaxed stay at a country estate with wine tasting and a snack. Distance: approx. 44 km, 380 m elevation, moderate.

Day 5: 10 September 2026 / Free Day
Day at leisure to relax at the hotel or explore the surroundings independently.

Day 6: 11 September 2026 / Through the Chianti Region to San Gimignano
Cypress-lined roads, vineyards, and medieval villages accompany today’s ride to San Gimignano. Guided walk through the historic center and stop at the famous Gelateria Dondoli. Distance: approx. 35 km, 390 m elevation, moderate.

Day 7: 12 September 2026 / Along the Arno to Florence
From Signa, leisurely ride along the Arno to Florence. See masterpieces such as the Duomo, Campanile, and Baptistery. Time to explore the city independently. Distance: approx. 35 km, 180 m elevation, easy.

Day 8: 13 September 2026 / Departure
Transfer to Florence airport after breakfast. Flight back to Luxembourg.
