This fascinating e-bike tour takes you through some of the most beautiful regions of Western and Central Switzerland – from the Mediterranean flair of Montreux, over green hills and alpine passes, to the tranquil shores of Lake Sarnen and Lake Lucerne.
ITINERARY
Day 1: June 9, 2026 / Arrival Departure in the morning from Luxembourg at P+R Bouillon to Bern, including lunch.
Day 2: June 10, 2026 / Montreux – Les Paccots (20.2 km) You start in Montreux and follow the Lake Geneva route along the lakeshore to Chardonne. There you enjoy lunch at the restaurant "A la demi lune" with a panoramic view over Lake Geneva. Then the route leads to Corsier-sur-Vevey. At the museum Chaplin’s World, you dive into the life of the legendary artist who lived here with his family. Afterwards, you leave behind the Mediterranean flair of Lake Geneva and cycle northwards into the green rolling hills of the Gruyère region. Via Châtel-Saint-Denis you reach Les Paccots.
Day 3: June 11, 2026 / Les Paccots – Charmey (44.2 km) After breakfast, you start the next stage. You cycle back to Châtel-St-Denis and again follow the lake route to Bulle – a charming town with a classical flair. Then continue to Pringy, where at the Maison du Gruyère you experience the famous cheese production up close and enjoy a fine lunch. A short walk brings you to the medieval town of Gruyères with its impressive castle. Afterwards, you roll down to Broc, home of the Cailler chocolate museum. Via route 59, the path continues past Lake Montsalvens to Charmey. At Hotel Cailler, you relax in the directly connected Bains de la Gruyère spa before enjoying a delicious multi-course dinner.
Day 4: June 12, 2026 / Charmey – Gstaad Schönried (33.6 km) You cycle through the wild and romantic Grischbach valley towards Gstaad-Schönried – a stage full of peace and nature. Upon arrival at Hotel Ermitage, pure relaxation awaits: 3,700 m² wellness area invites you to unwind.
Day 5: June 13, 2026 / Gstaad-Schönried – Spiez (49.4 km) Today you ride along the Simme river through the traditional Simmental valley. Enjoy the intricately decorated wooden houses and the pristine Diemtigtal, where a stop is especially worthwhile. Also worth seeing is the historic Wimmis Bridge – one of the oldest in the Bernese Oberland. After about three hours of riding, you reach Spiez with its picturesque bay, vineyards, and impressive castle.
Day 6: June 14, 2026 / Spiez – Wilen am Sarnersee (76.3 km) The probably most challenging but most scenic stage is ahead: you follow Lake Thun and Lake Brienz to Meiringen, where a hearty lunch awaits at the Pizzeria Bahnhöfli. Afterwards, with e-bike support, you conquer the Brünig Pass and reach Lake Lungern – an ideal place for a break. From there it’s not far to Seehotel Wilerbad SPA & Seminar on Lake Sarnen.
Day 7: June 15, 2026 / Wilen am Sarnersee – Weggis (54 km) The last stage begins at Lake Sarnen and leads to Lake Lucerne. In Hergiswil, you visit the famous glassworks Glasi. Then continue to Lucerne with a walk over the Chapel Bridge and lunch at the lake bistro. Afterwards, you cycle via Büttenen and the Meggerwald forest to Küssnacht and finally to Weggis.
Day 8: June 16, 2026 / Departure After a leisurely breakfast, you return home to Luxembourg, including lunch.
