ITINERARY
Day 1: 04 October 2026 / Arrival at Lake Garda Early morning departure from Luxembourg (P+R Bouillon) to Bardolino, including breakfast and lunch. In the afternoon, arrival at the popular resort, beautifully located on the shores of Lake Garda.
Day 2: 05 October 2026 / Bardolino – Festa dell’Uva e del Vino A very special experience awaits: the famous Bardolino wine festival. Along the lakeside promenade between Punta Mirabello and Punta Cornicello, and in Parco Carrara Bottagisio, wine tastings and live music stages take place. For decades, locals and visitors alike have celebrated the grape harvest – a festival full of enjoyment, tradition, and Italian joie de vivre.
Day 3: 06 October 2026 / Riva del Garda – Arco In the morning, take a cruise to Riva del Garda. This lively town combines a sophisticated flair with the dramatic backdrop of steep mountain slopes. Once under Austrian rule, Riva still blends Italian lightness with Tyrolean authenticity. After lunch, visit nearby Arco, exploring its old town, picturesque fountains, grand portals, and winding streets. Return to Bardolino by bus.
Day 4: 07 October 2026 / Bergamo – City on Two Levels Excursion to Bergamo. Take the funicular to the famous “Città Alta,” the upper town with its palaces and religious buildings. Highlights include the San Alessandro Cathedral, the magnificent Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore, and panoramic views over the Po Valley.
Day 5: 08 October 2026 / Verona – City of Love Guided tour of Verona, an elegant city with splendid palaces, romantic streets, the medieval castle, and of course the Arena di Verona. The world’s most famous balcony is not to be missed. Free time afterward, ideal for strolling or enjoying lunch at one of the many restaurants.
Day 6: 09 October 2026 / Brescia The historic city of Brescia surprises with its mix of culture and history. On a city tour, visit the Mille-Miglia Museum, which tells the story of the legendary car race, as well as the Palazzo Martinengo Cesaresco. Other highlights include the 11th-century Romanesque Duomo Vecchio and Castello di Brescia. Afternoon free.
Day 7: 10 October 2026 / Sirmione – Lazise Morning visit to Sirmione, picturesque on a peninsula and known for its thermal springs, Scaliger Castle, and romantic old town. In the afternoon, visit Lazise, including an olive oil factory to learn about the traditional production process.
Day 8: 11 October 2026 / Departure After breakfast, return to Luxembourg, including lunch.
