ITINERARY
Day 1: 14 June 2026 / Journey to Rotterdam Early morning departure from Luxembourg (P+R Bouillon) to Rotterdam. Late afternoon: departure on your comfortable ferry to Hull in northern England. Onboard, enjoy a delicious dinner buffet and overnight at sea.
Day 2: 15 June 2026 / Hull – Gretna Green – Dundee After breakfast on board, arrive on the British coast and continue to Scotland. First stop: Gretna Green, the legendary “marriage forge” of the 18th century, where couples once secretly tied the knot. In the evening, arrive in Dundee and check into your central hotel.
Day 3: 16 June 2026 / Pitlochry – Blair Castle – Whisky Distillery Travel via Dunkeld to the traditional spa town of Pitlochry, whose picturesque centre invites a leisurely stroll. Continue to the Scottish Highlands to the impressive Blair Castle, with its magnificent interior and extensive park. The afternoon concludes with a visit to a whisky distillery, where you’ll learn about whisky-making and taste Scotland’s “water of life.”
Day 4: 17 June 2026 / Edinburgh A full day in Scotland’s capital. Explore the elegant Georgian New Town and the famous Royal Mile, stretching from Holyrood Palace to Edinburgh Castle. Alternatively, visit the Royal Yacht Britannia, the former floating residence of the royal family. In the afternoon, free time to explore the Old Town, shops, and cafés.

Day 5: 18 June 2026 / Glamis Castle – Dundee Visit Glamis Castle, one of Scotland’s most beautiful castles, surrounded by a magnificent park and steeped in history and legend. In the afternoon, explore Dundee, a city that fascinatingly blends tradition and modernity. Enjoy a leisurely walk and experience its maritime charm.
Day 6: 19 June 2026 / Free Morning – Fife Peninsula – St. Andrews Morning at leisure – ideal for visiting the famous V&A Design Museum or strolling through the city centre. In the afternoon, drive across the picturesque Fife Peninsula with charming fishing villages. In St. Andrews, explore the cathedral and castle ruins, and visit Scotland’s oldest university, once attended by Prince William.
Day 7: 20 June 2026 / Abbotsford – Return to Hull Travel south through the Scottish Borders and Northumberland National Park. Stop at Abbotsford, the historic home of writer Sir Walter Scott, before boarding the ferry back to Rotterdam. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 8: 21 June 2026 / Amsterdam – Luxembourg Arrive in Rotterdam and return to Luxembourg with memories and impressions, including lunch.
