ITINERARY

Day 1: 16 August 2026 / Arrival
Early morning departure from Luxembourg (P+R Bouillon) to Norden, including breakfast and lunch.

Day 2: 17 August 2026 / Norden-Norddeich – Greetsiel
Morning exploration of Norden-Norddeich and its development into a recognized North Sea resort. Afternoon transfer to Greetsiel to discover the picturesque harbor with colorful fishing boats and the historic twin windmills, affectionately called “Greetsieler Zwillinge.” A relaxing canal cruise completes the visit.

Day 3: 18 August 2026 / Ferry to Norderney
Ferry to the popular island of Norderney. Island tour by tourist train with insights into maritime history and natural landscapes. Free time to enjoy Norderney individually.

Day 4: 19 August 2026 / Aurich – Tea Museum & Ceremony
Excursion to Aurich, the “secret capital” of East Frisia. Guided city tour highlighting history and local features. On the return, visit the Tea Museum in Norden and participate in a traditional East Frisian tea ceremony – an authentic cultural experience.

Day 5: 20 August 2026 / Borkum
After a hearty breakfast, visit Borkum, the largest East Frisian island. Depart from Emden by catamaran and enjoy a scenic island tour highlighting its diverse flora and fauna.

Day 6: 21 August 2026 / Suurhusen – Emden – Free time
Stop at Suurhusen to see the world’s most tilted tower. In Emden, guided city tour including “Dat Otto Huus,” dedicated to comedian Otto Waalkes and his famous Ottifanten. Free time to explore the city individually.

Day 7: 22 August 2026 / Wilhelmshaven
Guided visit of Wilhelmshaven with a local guide: Kaiser-Wilhelm Bridge, Town Hall, and Arngast Lighthouse on the Jade Bay. The rest of the day is free.

Day 8: 23 August 2026 / Return
Return to Luxembourg after a week full of experiences, including lunch.
