ITINERARY
Day 1: 20 September 2026 / Arrival Early morning departure from Luxembourg (P+R Bouillon) to Gunten, including breakfast and lunch.
Day 2: 21 September 2026 / Cruise on Lake Thun After breakfast, set sail for a leisurely cruise on Lake Thun, surrounded by a stunning mountain backdrop. In the afternoon, explore Thun on a guided city tour, discovering both historic streets and hidden corners. Return to Gunten by bus.
Day 3: 22 September 2026 / Grimsel Pass – Ballenberg Open-Air Museum Today, travel via the impressive Grimsel Pass at 2,165 m altitude. In the afternoon, on the way back, visit the Ballenberg Open-Air Museum, where over one hundred historic buildings from across Switzerland showcase rural life from past centuries.
Day 4: 23 September 2026 / Free Day Spend the day as you wish: relax in the hotel park by the lake, take a stroll along the shore, or enjoy the atmosphere of the small village of Gunten.
Day 5: 24 September 2026 / Grindelwald A special highlight awaits: the journey to Grindelwald followed by a train ride to the Kleine Scheidegg, at the foot of the famous Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau mountains – an unforgettable panorama! If weather permits, continue to the Jungfraujoch. Those who prefer a more relaxed day can enjoy the view with a coffee on a sun terrace.
Day 6: 25 September 2026 / Departure After breakfast, return to Luxembourg, including lunch.
