ITINERARY

Day 1: 27 September 2026 / Arrival
Early morning departure from Luxembourg (P+R Bouillon) to Sterzing, South Tyrol, including breakfast and lunch.

Day 2: 28 September 2026 / Free time in Sterzing – Neustift Monastery
Morning free in Sterzing. In the afternoon, excursion to Neustift, home to the impressive monastery of the same name – the largest in South Tyrol. Explore the site on your own and take the opportunity to taste or purchase the monastery’s wines.

Day 3: 29 September 2026 / Northern Dolomites Panorama Tour
Today, a scenic tour through the northern Dolomites. The route passes through the Pustertal, St. Christina and Wolkenstein in Val Gardena, continuing to Cortina d’Ampezzo and Lake Misurina. Enjoy a stunning view of the world-famous Three Peaks (Tre Cime di Lavaredo). Return via Toblach and Bruneck to Sterzing.

Day 4: 30 September 2026 / South Tyrol Wine Route – Winery & Tasting – Kaltern
Drive along the South Tyrol Wine Route, passing wine villages, castles, and noble estates. Neumarkt, with its historic center and arcades, is especially worth a visit. Visit a winery and enjoy a tasting, with lunch in a cozy local restaurant. Afternoon free in Kaltern.

Day 5: 1 October 2026 / Bressanone – Apple Experience & Tasting
Morning visit to the Melix fruit cooperative in Bressanone, with insights into modern apple storage. In the afternoon, explore the apple educational trail on the Natz-Schabs plateau. Finish with a stop at an inn to taste typical apple dishes.

Day 6: 2 October 2026 / Free time in Merano – Trauttmansdorff Castle
Today, travel to Merano, an authentic and beautiful town. Morning free to stroll the Friday market and the town’s streets. In the afternoon, visit the magnificent gardens of Trauttmansdorff Castle, featuring exotic plants and breathtaking mountain views.

Day 7: 3 October 2026 / Törggelen in Klausen
In the artist town of Klausen, autumn is all about traditional “Törggelen.” The whole town turns into an open-air tasting room. Besides culinary delights, enjoy cultural highlights: museums, castles, churches, and chapels await exploration.

Day 8: 4 October 2026 / Departure
After breakfast, return to Luxembourg, including lunch.
