ITINERARY

Day 1: 11 July 2026 / Arrival
Early morning departure from Luxembourg (P+R Bouillon) to St. Gilgen, including breakfast and lunch.

Day 2: 12 July 2026 / Free time in St. Gilgen – Zille boat cruise
The morning is free – explore St. Gilgen on your own. We recommend a stroll along the lakeside promenade or a ride on the cable car up to the Zwölferhorn for a magnificent panoramic view over Wolfgangsee. In the afternoon, continue to Fuschl for a relaxing Zille boat cruise on the lake.

Day 3: 13 July 2026 / Bad Ischl – Carriage ride
Excursion to Bad Ischl, Cultural Capital 2024. A cozy carriage ride offers an overview of the sights. Afterwards, free time for your own discoveries. Take the opportunity to visit the Kaiservilla, the former summer residence of Emperor Franz Joseph I and Sisi, or stroll through the traditional Café Zauner.

Day 4: 14 July 2026 / Two-Lake tour – St. Wolfgang – Hallstatt
Today’s program features the popular Two-Lake tour. By boat from St. Gilgen to St. Wolfgang, visit the parish and pilgrimage church of St. Wolfgang with the famous Pacher altar. Wander through the small streets filled with craft shops and cozy taverns. Afterwards, head to Lake Hallstätter and explore the picturesque village of Hallstatt. This UNESCO World Heritage site is known for its unique location between mountain and lake, offering countless photo opportunities.

Day 5: 15 July 2026 / Berchtesgaden – Königssee
In the morning, drive to Berchtesgaden and sightseeing. The traditional market town in the Berchtesgadener Land captivates with its historic center and alpine charm. The afternoon offers a special experience: an electric boat ride on the Königssee to the pilgrimage church of St. Bartholomä.

Day 6: 16 July 2026 / Traunsee
Today, travel to Traunsee in Gmunden, a charming town with an impressive location on the northern shore of the lake. The day is free. A walk along the lakeside promenade to the castle on the small island “Ort” is a must. A stroll through the old town with its ceramics workshops or a cozy stop at a lakeside café is also worthwhile.

Day 7: 17 July 2026 / Return
After breakfast, return to Luxembourg, including lunch.
