This extraordinary tour takes you to the highlights of Nepal and Tibet. Both regions captivate with their authenticity and spirituality. ITINERARY

Day 1: 16 October 2026 / Arrival
Early departure to Frankfurt and flight to Nepal. Upon arrival in Kathmandu, you will be greeted at the airport and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is free for acclimatization.

Day 2: 17 October 2026 / Kathmandu – Rickshaw Ride – Thamel
Visit the Swayambhunath Stupa, one of Nepal’s oldest sanctuaries, offering a stunning view over the valley. Explore the historic temples and palaces of Durbar Square. A rickshaw ride through Kathmandu’s streets provides authentic glimpses of local life before lunch at the atmospheric Kaiser Café. Afterwards, stroll through the lively Thamel district. In the evening, enjoy a drink while listening to a mountaineer share his extraordinary Everest experience.

Optional excursion: Early morning flight over the mountains (weather permitting).

Day 3: 18 October 2026 / Spirituality in the Kathmandu Valley
Experience the diversity of religious traditions in the Kathmandu Valley: the sacred Pashupatinath Temple, the Buddhist sanctuary Boudhanath, and the peaceful Kopan Monastery reveal the country’s deep spirituality. Take time to absorb the unique atmosphere of these sites.

Day 4: 19 October 2026 / Chitwan National Park – Boat Trip on the Rapti River
Travel to Chitwan National Park, renowned for its rich wildlife and beautiful landscapes. After lunch at your lodge, enjoy initial wildlife observations and a boat trip on the Rapti River—a relaxing way to spot crocodiles, birds, and other animals. Clear weather offers magnificent views of the snow-capped Himalayas.

Day 5: 20 October 2026 / Safari & Culture in Chitwan
Morning jeep safari in the Meghauli forest, with a chance to see rhinos, elephants, and exotic birds. In the afternoon, visit a Tharu village and learn about local traditions. The day ends with traditional dances performed by the locals.

Day 6: 21 October 2026 / Return to Kathmandu – Lalitpur
After the flight from Bharatpur, visit Lalitpur, known for its intricately carved temples, palaces, and courtyards blending Hindu and Buddhist elements. Highlights include the Krishna Temple and the Golden Temple. Lunch at the charming Chez Caroline provides a delightful break.

Day 7: 22 October 2026 / Flight to Lhasa
Fly to Tibet. In Lhasa, located at 3,650 meters, spend the afternoon at leisure to acclimatize. Enjoy first walks through the city to glimpse its unique cultural and spiritual wealth.

Day 8: 23 October 2026 / Monasteries in Lhasa
Visit Drepung and Sera Monasteries, both major spiritual and educational centers. Witness the lively debates of monks in Sera’s courtyard. In the afternoon, explore Tibetan handicrafts, from calligraphy to incense making and woodcutting.

Day 9: 24 October 2026 / Potala Palace – Lhasa Old Town – Cooking Class
A highlight of the trip is visiting the Potala Palace, once the Dalai Lama’s residence. Explore the Jokhang Temple and colorful Barkhor Market, where pilgrims and merchants mingle in a unique atmosphere. In the evening, participate in a cooking class to prepare a Tibetan dinner.

Day 10: 25 October 2026 / Bhaktapur – Dhulikhel
Return flight to Kathmandu and drive to Dhulikhel. En route, visit Bhaktapur with its palaces, temples, and statues preserving the medieval charm. Your resort in Dhulikhel offers stunning views of the Himalayas.

Day 11: 26 October 2026 / Leisure and Relaxation in Dhulikhel
Enjoy a relaxed day with yoga, meditation, or creative activities such as painting. A small cooking class is also available. The trip concludes with a festive farewell dinner with fellow travelers.

Day 12: 27 October 2026 / Departure
Transfer to the airport and return flight to Frankfurt, then onward to Luxembourg.
