Day 1: 13.07.2026 / Reykjavík The Icelandic capital lies picturesquely on a wide bay in the west of the island. Reykjavík combines charming houses, creative culture, and impressive nature – ideal for first impressions and a relaxed boarding. Embarkation takes place between 4 and 5 p.m.
Day 2: 14.07.2026 / Sailing around Surtsey & Heimaey (Vestmannaeyjar) Surtsey, a volcanic island in the North Atlantic, was created by an underwater eruption. Today strictly protected, it serves as a living laboratory for biologists. Moss, plants, birds, and over 300 animal species have naturally settled here. A circumnavigation offers fascinating views of this rare natural wonder. Heimaey, the largest and only inhabited Vestmann Island, impresses with its dramatic volcanic landscape. The contrast between black sand, green slopes, and the wild coast is breathtaking. On the way to the viewpoint Stórhöfði, spectacular panoramas open up. The Eldheimar Museum vividly presents the 1973 eruption.
Day 3: 15.07.2026 / Grundarfjörður At the foot of the iconic Kirkjufell on the Snæfellsnes Peninsula lies the idyllic village of Grundarfjörður. The distinctive lava cone towers like a landmark over the coast. Already upon entering the bay, a postcard view opens up. Right at the dock begins a landscape of clear streams, meadows, and the sparkling Breiðafjörður. The colorful houses blend harmoniously with nature.
Day 4: 16.07.2026 / Day at Sea A day at sea invites you to relax and enjoy. Whether at the spa, working out in the fitness center, or attending a lecture – there are many opportunities on board to let yourself drift. Discover the boutique, exchange with the ship’s photographers, or let the sea breeze blow around your nose on the sun deck. Maybe you will even spot whales or dolphins! A welcome break full of comfort and inspiration.
Day 5: 17.07.2026 / Húsavík The small town of Húsavík is considered Iceland’s oldest settlement – and the whale watching capital. Here you have the best chance to experience the gentle giants up close. The region is also geologically exciting: The mystical Ásbyrgi Canyon tells of divine horses and natural forces. Particularly impressive is the Eyjan cliff, which splits the canyon into two parts.
Day 6: 18.07.2026 / Ísafjörður Deep in the northwest of Iceland lie the wild Westfjords – an almost uninhabited landscape of steep cliffs and quiet valleys. Ísafjörður, the largest town in the region, welcomes you with a picturesque harbor, colorful wooden houses, and a rich fishing history. The surrounding fjord with its distinctive basalt formations is one of the most beautiful in the entire country.
Days 7 & 8: 19. - 20.07.2026 / Reykjavík Back in Reykjavík, you can experience the city once more at your leisure. From the Perlan viewpoint, there is a wide view over the rooftops and the coast. In the center, charming streets like Laugavegur and Skólavörðustígur invite you to stroll and enjoy. Those who want to explore the surroundings will find soothing relaxation in the Blue Lagoon on the Reykjanes Peninsula, between lava fields and steaming water.
