Thanks to modern e-bikes, every stage of this journey can be enjoyed in a relaxed and comfortable way. Look forward to scenic rides, cultural highlights and a beautiful region where Alpine traditions meet the Italian way of life.

ITINERARY

Day 1: 03 May 2027 / Arrival in South Tyrol

Early in the morning, your journey begins by comfortable coach towards South Tyrol, including breakfast and lunch. After check-in at the hotel, the rest of the day is at leisure.

Day 2: 04 May 2027 / Along the Via Claudia Augusta to Bolzano (65 km / 100 m elevation gain)

Today you hop on your e-bike for the first time. Following the historic Via Claudia Augusta, the route gently leads north along the Adige River. Orchards, vineyards and Alpine scenery accompany this relaxed stage to Bolzano, the lively capital of South Tyrol. Once there, you will have time to stroll through the famous arcades, visit the cathedral or enjoy a relaxing break on Piazza Walther before cycling back at an easy pace. 

Day 3: 05 May 2027 / Three Lakes Tour in Southern South Tyrol (60 km / 520 m elevation gain)

Starting from your hotel, you cycle through extensive apple orchards and follow the Maria Theresa cycling route. Soon you reach Lake Caldaro before continuing towards the idyllic Montiggl Lakes. Passing through the traditional wine village of Tramin, home of the famous Gewürztraminer wine, you eventually return to your starting point. A perfect day surrounded by lakes, vineyards and Mediterranean flair.

Day 4: 06 May 2027 / Leisure Day

Today is entirely at your own pace. Enjoy a relaxing walk, visit a quiet café or spend some time in the hotel’s wellness area.

Day 5: 07 May 2027 / Along the Via Claudia Augusta to Trento (70 km / 100 m elevation gain)

Today’s stage takes you south along the Via Claudia Augusta. Cycling through vineyards planted with Teroldego grapes and charming villages, you reach Salorno, where the linguistic border between South Tyrol and Trentino becomes noticeable. After a few more kilometres, you arrive in Trento, where Italian elegance meets Central European history. Renaissance palaces, Piazza Duomo with its Neptune Fountain and the impressive Castello del Buonconsiglio invite you to explore the city.

Day 6: 08 May 2027 / From Bolzano to Merano (56 km / 140 m elevation gain)

After a short transfer, you begin a particularly scenic cycling tour from Bolzano to Merano. The cycle path follows the Adige River past castles, vineyards and apple orchards. One of the highlights is Sigmundskron Castle towering above the valley. Upon arrival in Merano, you will have time to enjoy the elegant atmosphere of this famous spa town before returning.

Day 7: 09 May 2027 / Excursion to Lake Garda (50 km / 200 m elevation gain)

The day begins with a coach transfer to Rovereto. From there, a spectacular cycling route leads through the natural reserve of Lake Loppio to Nago. The first view of Lake Garda rewards the gentle ascent. You then descend to Torbole and continue along the Sarca cycle path to Arco, where you can stroll through the charming old town. Crossing the fascinating “Marocche” landscape, the route continues to Lake Cavedine. To end the day, you enjoy a wine tasting with light snacks at a local winery before returning to the hotel by coach.

Day 8: 10 May 2027 / Return Journey

In the morning, it is time to say goodbye to South Tyrol. Return journey to Luxembourg, including lunch.
