This journey takes you to some of Africa’s most breathtaking natural wonders and finest wildlife regions. From the mighty Victoria Falls to the waterways of the Okavango Delta, you will experience Africa in its most authentic and untamed form.

TRAVEL ITINERARY

Day 1: 24 May 2027 / Departure from Luxembourg
Your exotic adventure begins with an overnight flight from Luxembourg to Johannesburg.

Day 2: 25 May 2027 / Arrival in Johannesburg – Leisure Time
Upon arrival in Johannesburg, you are welcomed at the airport and transferred to your hotel. This dynamic metropolis is considered the economic heart of South Africa and an important gateway to the spectacular landscapes of southern Africa.

Day 3: 26 May 2027 / Johannesburg – Livingstone
A connecting flight takes you to Livingstone in Zambia, close to the world-famous Victoria Falls. Here, the mighty waters of the Zambezi River plunge more than one and a half kilometres into a dramatic gorge. You witness one of nature’s greatest spectacles, known locally as “Mosi-oa-Tunya” – “The Smoke That Thunders.”

Day 4: 27 May 2027 / Livingstone – Leisure Time
Your stay in Livingstone offers numerous opportunities to experience the remarkable natural surroundings of the Zambezi River. In addition to visiting Victoria Falls, optional lodge activities may include a sunset cruise on the Zambezi or a guided safari drive through the surrounding landscapes.

Day 5: 28 May 2027 / Chobe National Park
After breakfast, you continue to Chobe National Park in Botswana. This protected area is one of Africa’s richest wildlife regions and is especially famous for its enormous elephant herds. Rivers, savannahs and dense forests create the perfect habitat for an extraordinary variety of wildlife.

Day 6: 29 May 2027 / Safari in Chobe National Park
Early in the morning, you set off on your first safari drive, when wildlife is particularly active. With some luck, you may spot elephants, buffalo, antelopes or even predators in their natural environment. Another safari takes place in the afternoon, ending with a spectacular African sunset.

Day 7: 30 May 2027 / Chobe – Okavango Delta
A short drive takes you to Kasane Airport. From there, you board a light aircraft for a scenic flight over Botswana’s endless wilderness to the famous Okavango Delta. The world’s largest inland delta forms a unique labyrinth of lagoons, waterways and islands in the heart of the Kalahari.

Day 8: 31 May 2027 / Okavango Delta
The Okavango Delta offers unforgettable wildlife experiences. During guided safari excursions, you discover the extraordinary biodiversity of this exceptional region, considered one of Africa’s premier safari destinations.

Day 9: 01 June 2027 / Okavango Delta
Another full day is dedicated to wildlife observation. Among waterways, grasslands and small islands live countless animal species, including lions, hippos, wildebeest and an impressive variety of birdlife.

Day 10: 02 June 2027 / Return Journey
After breakfast, transfer to the airstrip. A light aircraft takes you first to Maun and then onward to Johannesburg, where your return flight to Luxembourg begins.

Day 11: 03 June 2027 / Arrival in Luxembourg
You arrive safely back in Luxembourg early in the morning.
