ITINERARY
Day 1: May 3, 2026 / Arrival Direct flight from Luxembourg to Naples. Transfer from the airport to the hotel in Sorrento.
Day 2: May 4, 2026 / Sorrento – Tastings Explore Sorrento, once a favorite retreat for artists, writers, and poets. In the shops of the charming old town, you'll find famous ceramics from Vietri and the delicious lemon liqueur Limoncello. During a visit to a Limoncello factory, immerse yourself in the fragrant world of Amalfi lemons, learn about the production process, and sample various products. Later, a tasting of regional specialties awaits you on a traditional southern Italian farm in the hills of Sorrento, along with insights into local agricultural traditions and production.
Day 3: May 5, 2026 / Capri (weather-dependent) Take a boat to Marina Grande, then a transfer bus brings you to the center of Capri. With its breathtaking nature, Capri is one of the world’s most beautiful destinations. A guided walk through the old town leads (optionally) to the famous Gardens of Augustus. From there, enjoy spectacular views of the iconic Faraglioni rocks.
Day 4: May 6, 2026 / Amalfi Coast The day starts with a drive along one of the world’s most stunning coastal roads, winding past Positano to Amalfi. The town is known for its narrow, steep streets accessible only by steps. Main attractions include the imposing cathedral, bell tower, and the "Cloister of Paradise" (entry extra). A short boat trip then takes you to Maiori.
Day 5: May 7, 2026 / Free Day Enjoy the day at your leisure—explore on your own or relax at the hotel.
Day 6: May 8, 2026 / Pompeii – Gragnano Visit the impressive archaeological site of Pompeii. As you walk through the well-preserved ruins, the former splendor of the Roman city comes alive, offering fascinating insights into ancient life. Then continue to Gragnano, the cradle of Italian pasta tradition, where the breeze from Mount Vesuvius meets the moist sea air—ideal conditions for drying pasta.
Day 7: May 9, 2026 / Naples – Vesuvius Naples, the vibrant capital of Campania, offers a unique blend of old and new—always dominated by the majestic Vesuvius. Your guide will show you the city’s most important sights. In the afternoon, travel from Torre del Greco by minibus up Mount Vesuvius. At the top, enjoy a spectacular view of the crater and surrounding landscape.
Day 8: May 10, 2026 / Return Journey After breakfast, transfer to the airport. Return flight from Naples to Luxembourg.
