ITINERARY
Day 1: June 24, 2026 / Arrival – Free time in Tromsø Flight from Luxembourg to Tromsø with a stopover. Upon arrival, transfer by coach to the city center. After check-in, the rest of the day is at your leisure. You can start exploring the city: Polaria, an interactive center, offers fascinating exhibits on polar research and features an Arctic aquarium. The Tromsø Museum provides insights into the flora and fauna of Northern Scandinavia, while the Troll Museum immerses you in the world of Nordic myths.
Day 2: June 25, 2026 / Tromsø city tour – Fjellheisen cable car – Polar Park In the morning, discover Tromsø on a guided city tour. Then ascend the Storsteinen mountain via the Fjellheisen cable car for a breathtaking panoramic view. The journey continues to Bardu to visit the Polar Park – the world’s northernmost wildlife park, home to Norway’s largest predators: bears, wolves, elk, reindeer, and musk oxen. In the afternoon, travel onward to Bjerkvik.
Day 3: June 26, 2026 / Scenic drive through the Lofoten Islands – Lofoten Museum An unforgettable day begins with a drive across the spectacular Lofoten archipelago. Passing through picturesque villages like Svolvær, you arrive in Kabelvåg. There, the Lofoten Museum offers exciting insights into the history and importance of the cod fishing industry.
Day 4: June 27, 2026 / Henningsvær – Bøstad – Lofotr Viking Museum Today you visit Henningsvær, the most famous fishing village in the Lofoten Islands. After a relaxed visit, continue to Bøstad. Day 5: June 28, 2026 / Free time – Boat tour Trollfjord The morning is yours to enjoy. Day 6: June 29, 2026 / Stokmarknes – Hurtigruten Museum – Free time in Harstad In the morning, depart for Fiskebøl and take the ferry to Melbu. Your destination is Stokmarknes, the birthplace of the legendary Hurtigruten. Here, you'll visit the Hurtigruten Museum, home to the original MS Finnmarken. From the bridge to the engine room and historic galley, the museum offers fascinating insights into life at sea. Afterwards, continue to Harstad for an afternoon at leisure.
Day 7: June 30, 2026 / Boat trip through the archipelago After breakfast, enjoy a scenic boat trip through Norway’s captivating archipelago landscape back to Tromsø. Let yourself be enchanted by the beauty of the rugged Norwegian coast.
Day 8: July 1, 2026 / Return journey Morning transfer to Tromsø Airport for your return flight to Luxembourg
