Day 1: April 18, 2026 / Arrival in Cyprus Fly from Luxembourg to Larnaca, Cyprus, with a stopover. Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel where you can unwind and enjoy a relaxed evening.
Day 2: April 19, 2026 / Ancient treasures and modern Limassol After breakfast, explore the ancient city of Kourion with its impressive amphitheater and well-preserved mosaics. Continue to the medieval Kolossi Castle, once an important stronghold of the Knights Hospitaller. Enjoy lunch in a local restaurant in Limassol. Discover the marina with its luxury yachts, the vibrant city center, and the imposing castle where Richard the Lionheart married Berengaria of Navarre.
Day 3: April 20, 2026 / Culture & Cuisine Visit the Neolithic settlement of Chirokitia, one of the oldest in the region. Afterwards, visit a traditional farmhouse and learn the secrets of Cypriot cuisine. Watch demonstrations of Halloumi and Bourekia production. In the afternoon, visit the picturesque mountain village of Pano Lefkara, renowned for its handmade lace, embroidery, and silver craftsmanship.
Day 4: April 21, 2026 / Free day Take the day to relax on the beach or explore Cyprus at your leisure.
Day 5: April 22, 2026 / Nicosia - The divided capital Today, visit Nicosia, the only divided capital in the world. Tour the Archaeological Museum with its unique artifacts, the Cathedral of St. John, and the impressive Famagusta Gate. Explore the old town with its narrow streets and markets. In the afternoon, cross the border into the Turkish-occupied part and visit the Selimiye Mosque, formerly a Christian cathedral.
Day 6: April 23, 2026 / Omodos – Paphos Depart Limassol and travel to the picturesque village of Omodos, known for its wines and historic monastery. During a tasting, discover the traditional Commandaria wine. Afterwards, visit a bakery to sample Arkatena bread and Soutzoukos sweets. In the afternoon, continue to Paphos with a stop at the mythical Aphrodite’s Rock.
